This show is in its third iteration, first performed as part of a drama school showcase, then at festivals and now again at Exeter Northcott Theatre’s RECLAIM festival.

I’ve written a show! Starting literally at the moment I was born, right through the painful teenage years to my (hugely successful) adulthood, it’s all about growing up and feeling pressure to ‘act like a lady’. Featuring my own mother in a starring role, the show asks deep and thought-provoking questions such as ‘why won’t she go to restaurants with thick tables’, ‘how much can I blame my grandmother for’ and ‘why won’t my podiatrist let me wear ugg boots’. Graceless is perfect for mothers, daughters and anyone who has cried in an M&S changing room.
